*1 Maximal speed of case packer (bags placed within a minute in cardboard box) depends on the quantity of bags taken at one time by the transfer head and on quantity of moves (placements) of the transfer head.

Case packers, which place bags in laying position into cartons, are used for group packing of bags into carton boxes. Bags in horizontal positions are transported from a packaging machine to the entry conveyor of a particular case packer by a conveyor. On this entry conveyor the bags are grouped into requested formations. The vacuum head transfers the bag formations into to an erected carton.
Carton boxes are prepared on the handling conveyor that is parallel to the entry conveyor of case packer. The case packers for bag loading in laying position can be equipped with a carton erector on the input side and/or with a machine for carton closing on the output side. Case packer controlled by industrial PC with a touch screen.
